NACA Regional Council Student Leader Scholarships
ONLY current undergraduate students are eligible to apply.
High school students are not eligible.

The Regional Council Scholarship fund was established in 1996 in order to provide scholarships to recipients from within each of NACA’s regions. The fund, administered by the NACA Foundation, is maintained by an annual contribution from each of the regions. The scholarships, which annually vary in amount, are to be used for educational expenses including tuition, books, fees or other related expenses. Scholarships are presented at individual NACA regional conferences.

DEADLINE
Materials must be submitted online between March 15 and May 1. Only the first 75 qualified applications will be considered.

CRITERIA
Applicants for the Regional Council Student Leader Scholarship must:

  • Be matriculated undergraduate students in good standing at the time of application and during the semester in which the awards are received;
  • Hold significant leadership positions on their campuses;
  • Have made significant contributions to their campus communities; and,
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills and abilities.
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High school students are not eligible.

Applicants must submit the following materials so that they are received in the NACA Office no later than May 1.

  • Two letters of recommendation. They may be attached to the application form or forwarded separately to the NACA Office. These letters should be from administrators or faculty members who are well aquatinted with the applicant as a student leader, and should specify the applicant’s leadership positions, responsibilities, skills and ability, training and accomplishments.
  • A re´sume´ or description of the applicant’s leadership positions, responsibilities, skills and ability, training and accomplishments
  • Official verification of the applicant’s current enrollment status from the college/university registrar.
